Asians on Film Festival 2016!

What a wonderful week of supporting some amazing short films at the Asians on Film festival! We had a blast at the WORLD PREMIERE of our short film, Maple's Tree. It was truly a remarkable experience to see all of our hard work on the big screen. I sat in my seat, a nervous wreck, and was so touched by the response we received. I could hear people sniffling and softly crying at the end of our film. Many said they were moved by the story and that's all I could ever ask for. Thank you to all of our family and friends who came out to support. It means the world to us. Hopefully, we'll be able to screen the film in many other festivals!

I was so shocked at the exceptional short films selected. Some of my favorites were Touch, D.Asian, My Best Friend, Ben, and Mango Sticky Rice. It was both refreshing and exciting to see such talented Asian-Americans breaking the mold in the industry on-and-off-screen. This experience has me thrilled for the future of Asian-American cinema. Here's to the future!
